Technical Recruiter
A Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for highly
specialized technical roles, primarily within software engineering, IT, data science, and
infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of technical stacks and a proactive
approach to engaging top-tier talent.
Key Responsibilities
● Sourcing and Pipeline Management: Develop and execute advanced sourcing
strategies to build and maintain a pipeline of highly qualified technical candidates using
platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and specialized communities.
● Candidate Screening: Conduct in-depth technical screens to assess candidates’ skills,
experience, and cultural fit, often involving discussions on complex coding concepts and
system architecture.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers (Engineering VPs,
Directors, and Leads) to understand technical requirements, define effective interview
processes, and optimize hiring velocity.
● Offer Negotiation: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including presenting offers,
negotiating compensation, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
● Market Intelligence: Stay current on technical trends, salary benchmarks, and
competitive hiring strategies within the tech industry.
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
● 3+ years of experience recruiting for complex technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers,
DevOps, Data Scientists).
● Solid understanding of key technical terms, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java,
JavaScript), and development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
